The HealthLaw Tool and the information it provides is intended for education and informational use only. By downloading the code to embed the HealthLaw Tool, you agree to our Terms of Use, which include our Privacy Policy, and these Usage Guidelines. Consumers Union of United States, Inc. has the right to modify these Usage Guidelines. Any modification is effective immediately upon posting to these Usage Guidelines on the ConsumerReports.org web site, and your continued use of the HealthLaw Tool following modification to these Usage Guidelines shall be conclusively deemed an acceptance of all such modification(s).

Who We Are
The HealthLaw Tool is published by Consumers Union of United States, Inc. ("CU"), the non-profit publisher of Consumer Reports® magazine and ConsumerReports.org®. CU does not sell insurance products and does not endorse any retailers who do. We are an independent, non-profit research organization that tests and evaluates products and services with a mission to work for a fair, just, and safe marketplace and to empower consumers as they buy products and services.

Permitted Use
CU grants a limited license on a revocable, non-exclusive, worldwide basis for you to use and embed and publicly display the HealthLaw Tool to share information with others on your web site and in other digital media. You agree to use the HealthLaw Tool according to these Usage Guidelines, as they may be updated from time to time, and in accordance with other policies or direction from CU.

Restrictions

    • Obscene, indecent, pornographic, profane, sexually explicit, threatening, or abusive,

    • Slanders, libels, defames, disparages, or otherwise violates the legal rights of any third party,
    • Contains software viruses or any other malicious code designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment,
    • Impersonates another person or entity, or falsely states or otherwise misrepresents your affiliation with a person or entity;
    • Collects or uses any information about visitors or users of the HealthLaw Tool.

The HealthLaw Tool and its code may include certain intellectual property of CU or its Affiliates, including trademarks, service marks, names, logos, or other identifiers of CU or its Affiliates.
